The Reflection Vase - a perfect storm of function and form. No stranger to aesthetics, this vase is inspired by pools of meltwater in early spring - a combination of mud, dead wood, and dried grass from times past, mixing with the first green shoots of the season. Truly evocative.
This vase is intended to be used with one stem or a small grouping, with flora hanging over the reflective water surface. The design enables the stem(s )to be held upright, while also allowing for water to flow through from the wide base. Fill the base with water and enjoy the reflective play between the flora and fluid.
Alternatively the vase can act as a tray, incense holder, or a candle holder. Use your imagination to dream up all of it's potential uses.
The Reflection Vase was designed in collaboration with Mercury Bureau, a Toronto-based studio founded by Shane Krepakevich with a fundamentally collaborative approach, working across object design, graphic design, music, photography, and publication
